Items in stock will be dispatched same day if placed before 3pm for next day delivery. For custom built or assembled systems, we would normally expect to dispatch your new system within 3-5 working days of your order being placed. However, if there are industry component shortages, delivery may take up to 28 days. Once built, configured and put through our rigorous testing policy, systems are only delivered by next-day insured courier. Due to the nature of our assembly and dispatch process, it is not always possible to advise customers of a delivery date until the day before dispatch. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Delivery Charge We make every effort to keep our delivery charges as low as possible. Our charge depends on the weight of your order. You only pay one delivery charge, irrespective of the number of products ordered. When you add products to your Shopping Cart, the appropriate charge will be added automatically. You will always be able to see this charge at the bottom of your shopping cart and before you confirm your order. *Please note, we deliver to anywhere in mainland UK. All other areas such as Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, The Scottish Highlands, UK Offshore, and Ireland are subject to additional delivery charges. Warranty ShoeBox Base Systems and Solutions (pre-built systems) are covered by a 1 year Return to Base (RTB) warranty unless otherwise stated. The customer will be responsible for all carriage costs incurred whilst returning faulty goods to us. Customers not resident on the UK mainland will be responsible for all carriage costs both ways. All other goods are covered by a manufacturer's 12 month warranty unless otherwise stated*. Should any products carry a manufacturer's direct or extended warranty it is the responsibility of the buyer to contact the manufacturer directly in the event of a fault. Monitors carry a 3 year onsite swap-out warranty unless otherwise stated. Warranty on all Batteries, Keyboard, Mice, Mouse Mats, Floppy Disks/Tape Media/Writable CD/Software on CD/Diskettes and all such products will carry a DOA (Dead On Arrival) warranty only. Any problems must be reported to Shoebox Computers within 5 days of receipt. ShoeBox Computers do not operate an advanced replacement policy and faulty items must be returned for testing. In the event of any item found not to be faulty, then a testing fee will be charged £10 + VAT for any single item (ie Barebone PC). Full system examination £30 + VAT. Any problems relating to software and not purchased from us or loaded properly will be charged at £25/Hour. All returned item(s) found faulty, replacement will be carried out within 30 days. If returned warranty covered faulty item(s) no longer available on the market, item(s) will be replaced as soon as we received from manufacturer or supplier. *All Shuttle Complete XPC systems come with 2 years on site manufactures direct warranty including DOA (Dead On Arrival) unless stated. ShoeBox Computers will not offer any refund, advance replacement or technical support on these systems. Shuttle Service line is 0870 2489627. Cancellation and Returns Policy Whether your order is made via our website or by email, fax or telephone you are covered under the Distance Selling Regulations laid out by the Office of Fair Trading. In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations, the following applies to all transactions undertaken on the website: The buyer is entitled to return the goods within 7 working days for a refund subject to the following: i) It is reasonable for the buyer to open the outer packaging and inspect the goods. All goods returned must not be marked in any way. It is not acceptable to break any seals on the accompanying software or on the item itself. It should be returned with the original box, packing and accessories. ii) Any software that forms a part of the goods (driver and software disks) if unsealed by the buyer are exempt from the right to cancel and return the goods under the Distance Selling Regulations. However, if the goods are not as specified, advertised or faulty, then the buyer may still reject the goods under The Sales of Goods Act. iii) Custom systems which are built to the customers individual specifications are exempt from the right to cancel under the Distance Selling Regulations. This does not include our pre-built Computer Systems. iv) If the buyer properly rejects any of the goods in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations within 7 working days in writing, the buyer shall nonetheless be responsible for the return cost of the goods. On receipt of the returned items, they will be checked and tested to determine that reasonable care has been taken. Shoebox Computers do not accept any responsibility for the loss of any data or software stored on any system returned to us for inspection, repair, upgrade or other service. v) If the returned goods received by the Company are not in a sellable as new condition, then we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of 25%.

Shoebox Computers accepts no responsibility for the receiving of faulty goods, however any faulty products are subject to the following conditions;
We cannot accept any returned goods found to fall into one or more of the following categories: i) Used or opened Software of any kind ii) The goods are in some way physically damaged by the buyer. iii) The warranty or serial number label is found to have been tampered with / torn. iv) The goods are found not to have been sold to the customer by us. v) The goods are outside the warranty period. vi) The goods are covered by a direct manufactures warranty. vii) The goods do not have a corresponding RMA number displayed clearly on the item(s). An RMA number must be obtained before any item is sent back to us. Click here to create a new support ticket Goods received by the buyer that are found to be physically damaged by the courier must be reported to the Shoebox Computers immediately. The maximum time allowed to report physical damage is 72 hours. After 72 hours, any claims of physical damage will not be accepted for refund or replacement.
